The KuwagosThe Kuwagos

The alternative rock trio of Cho Lopez (guitar), Marc Lacsamana (drums), and Gatchie Ignacio (bass, vocals) made big waves in 2007 upon the release of their self-titled debut album, which gave the Filipino-American music fans songs that will resonate for ages: Tabo, Eh Ano Ngayon, Ikaw Lang, Gusto Mo, and Maynila, to name a few.

The Kuwagos are perhaps the greatest band to ever sing the stories about being a global Filipino.

Currently, the band is scheduled to release their 2-sided single containing their new songs, Lagi Sa kama and You, A-Who.

A video was also shot for the carrier single and will be released to promote the free singles.
The 2nd album of the band is slated for a mid 2009 launch.

Happy Analogues
 The Happy Analogues

The Happy Analogues were formed in 2005 by Ted Reyes (guitar, vocals, keyboards), Ronnie Lao (bass, vocals), Paul Zurita (guitar), and Rich "Jonze" Saguire (drums, percussion).

Immediatley, they became one of the most innovative,  and exciting bands in the Filipino-American music scene.
However, the Analogues are known, most of all, for being perhaps the most prollific band today with a release rate unequelled by any of their contemporaries: A full album, a double sided-single,  a three -song EP,  four single releases, two christmas singles, and a double album (School Tales) currently in production,  all in less than three years of existence. It is remarkable how the band still maintains a steady touring schedule given the amount of music they are producing and releasing.

 Sodapop Suicide
 Sodapop Suicide

They are known to be the most enigmatic band in the Fil-Am music scene due to their scarce public performances. Yet, their songs are among the most popular hits in the entire scene. From their hit debut single, Sana Naman,  to the trippy Voltes 5, the band is living proof that in the age of the world wide web, great songs can be hit songs no matter what.

The band is composed of Val Guevarra (vocals, guitar), Marc Anthony Lopez (guitar), Juan MIranda (bass), and Jowell Padilla (drums).

Riding the wave of success brought about by their hit singles, Sodapop Suicide is now in the studio and working on their much-anticipated  debut album that will hit the scene in late 2008.

Bleud Bleud

Bleud is the first Fil-Am band to release music under Soulworks back in 2004. Now, four years after that milestone release, Bleud: Extended Play, the band is still one of the most important Fil-Am rock groups today.

Their songs are undeniablly part of the history of Fil-Am rock: Turon, Field Trip, Babolgum Music, Bye Bye Na, Every Other Day, Animé Girl, Ordinary, Swing, Out of Control, and Hatinggabi.

These songs are the soundtrack of a very important period in the history of the scene. A period, when all Fil-Am artists are one and the scene making giant strides towards international recognition. After releasing their Tragic Ending EP in February of this year, the band is working on a sophomore album for 2009. The men in Bleud are: Brian Jospeh Miguel (vocals, guitar, synths), Jerwin Glorioso (bass, vocals), Arnold Derama (lead guitar), Jay Estrada (drums), and Ted Reyes (guitar, synths and vocals).
