NEW YORK– The premiere Asian-American music channel on Direct TV, MYX, will take part in the historic Rock in the Box Weekend on August 29 and 30 in New York City.
The music channel will be sending a crew to cover the historic event and will feature some of the bands that will be playing, as well as the ones in the compilation album, Rock in the Box 2.

According to a network producer, they are aware of the magnitude of Rock in the Box Weekend, hence their decision to team up with Soulworks and Poptimes Magazine and bring this growing scene to a wider audience.

As for the label and the magazine, the involvement of MYX marks a new beginning in the development of the Filipino-American music scene.
