Qwadra NEW YORK– Another artist from the historic Filipino-American compilation album Rock in the Box 2 is on MYX TV. New York's very own hard rock band, Qwadra is now being featured alongside other RITB2 artist on the premiere music channel on Direct TV. The interview with the band was held during the album launch of the compilation last August 2009 at Crash Mansion, here in New Yorck City. Watch the clip online. Steel Polly
Rayzed NEW YORK– The second batch batch of features about Rock in the Box 2 artists are now on MYX TV.
Maryland's Steel Polly and California's Rayzed were interviewed by ABS-CBN's Cable Music Channel, MYX during the launching of the historic Fil-Am compilation album last August 30, here in New York City. Now the segments are on air.
Earlier last month, the first batch was shown featuring ACI9 from Chicago, and Then Again from New Jersey.

The Rocky Yuletide Collection: Now Available For Free |

 In 2006 and 2007, Soulworks released two free Christmas records. The releases are now known in the scene as the Rocky Yuletide Series. This Thanksgiving, the label announced the release of The Rocky Yuletide Collection– a free downloadable holiday album containing all the songs from the 2006 and 2007 releases plus two new songs: Merry Christmas (Santo Niño) by Archie D, and Secret Santa by John Flor Sisante. Archie D and John Flor, two of the most talented singer-songwriters in the scene today, will join an impressive roster of fellow Fil-Am artists who have contributed songs to this annual tradition: The Kuwagos, Binky Bianca, Trickbag, The Happy Analogues, John Limguangco, Tony Murgola, Sodapop Suicide, Bleud, Sheryl Mae and The Astrids, Then Again, Paul Zurita, and Sugarplumfairy. Rocky Yuletide Collection comes with a new digital album sleeve. It is available for free download from Thanksgiving Day (November 27) to Christmas Eve (December 24). |
